CESA #11, in
cooperation with the River Falls
School District, and Viterbo University
bring you Star Academy!
This year
STAR Academy has a new location, a new
format and a new university partnership.
The Academy will be held at River Falls
High School on Tuesday, July 29th
through Friday, August1st.
This wonderful facility accommodates
larger audiences for our keynote
presentations and provides greater
capacity for technology course work. In
addition, relocating to River Falls
helps to balance the locations of our
summer offerings in the CESA #11 region
this summer, as Facilitating the Future
has moved back to the WITC-Rice Lake
Campus. The four-day format will
provide the same amount of instructional
hours and credit opportunities, and will
hopefully be more convenient to our
participants and schools.
STAR Academy also has a
university partnership change. A
number of STAR Academy participants have
inquired about offering a graduate
credits that would potentially transfer
into a Master's Degree program.
STAR Academy is on the path to doing
just that. We have a partnership
with Viterbo University for university
credits this summer and are working
towards a full Master's program to begin
the summer of 2008. We are excited
to work with Viterbo University again
and provide this opportunity for
teachers in the CESA #11 region.
We are
seeking individuals, like you, who want
to experience the latest in teaching and
learning and who want to become
educational leaders. STAR Academy is for
all Pre K-16 public and private
educators. STAR Academy is part of the
Wisconsin Academy Staff Development
Initiative (WASDI).
