It's About Balance: Well-Being,
Renewal, and Stress Management for
Educators (and Students, TOO!)
Tim Burns, Educare, Santa Fe, NM
Tim@TimBurnsEducare.com
Is it
harder to keep up with the challenge
of being an educator? Feeling more
stress and not quite sure how to get
things into balance? In truth, most
of us—and our students—are these
days. While there are no simple
answers, this workshop will help
bring your life and career into more
healthful and enjoyable balance.
Many of these practical insights
will benefit your students as well.
The good news is this: small
changes, specifically applied, have
been shown to produce positive
results in stress reduction, health
improvement, and enhanced
well-being. Research in fields such
as stress management, human
resiliency, wellness, martial arts,
exercise physiology, the brain
sciences, neuro-feedback,
cardio-feedback, and positive
psychology provides key principles
and useful techniques that can bring
about a calmer, more energized, and
balanced approach to living and
learning.
Offered to educators, counselors,
and care-providers in over half a
dozen countries, this workshop
addresses theory, recent research
and practical, effective techniques
for immediate use in both your
personal life and the
professional/classroom setting.
Participants will be able to:
