IMPLEMENTING A COMPREHENSIVE SCHOOL
COUNSELING PROGRAM, LEVEL II
DPI Sponsored Trainer
Exciting changes are a foot in the
field of school counseling.
Join a DPI sponsored trainer foe
Level II Training in Wisconsin's new
K-12 Comprehensive School Counseling
Program. This course,
integrating current program
activities into the program
formulated during Level I training,
will provide school counselors with
the steps needed for the development
and management of a comprehensive
school counseling program.
Participants will develop a
comprehensive curricular action
plan, a crosswalk of student content
standards, scope and sequence
charts, curriculum maps, unit lesson
guides, and a handbook for the
program advisory committee.
These next steps, going beyond the
essential development of the school
counseling program, will provide the
management skills and strategies
needed for long term sustainability.
