(3-12 Teachers & Paras)
DIFFERENTIATION IS FOR EVERYONE
Judy Schultz, West Bend
jschultz@west-bend.k12.wi.us
Teachers from grades 3-12 will be
empowered to meet the needs of the
wide range of learners in their
classrooms. Understand the
philosophy behind differentiation
and develop practical strategies
that can immediately be put to use
in your classroom. Whether
students have special needs in the
areas of special education, ELL, or
gifted, or simply display the varied
abilities found in a normal
classroom, we will identify ways to
make learning appropriate,
meaningful, and rigorous.
Objectives:
 |
Learn about and reflect on
current research on
differentiated instruction |
 |
Develop and practice
differentiated strategies |
 |
Explore various classroom
management strategies to use
with differentiation |
