Don Harvey, Holmen
ddharvey@pressenter.com
So you have a digital camera, maybe
a scanner, and can download images
from the Internet, now what?
Participants will lean by doing a
variety of hands-on projects such as
: manipulating digital photos,
scans, and other images and
preparing images for PowerPoint, the
web, e-mail, graphics programs and
video.
Participants will bring their own
images and optimize them as they
learn the following skills:
 |
Rotate, crop, and make
selections |
 |
Adjust contrast, brightness,
hue and saturation, red eye
reduction, etc. |
 |
Repair damaged photos and
fix imperfections |
 |
Learn about file formats,
modes, and layers |
 |
Create special effects and
artwork using Photoshop |
 |
Use various menus/tools |
 |
Change colors of objects and
alter selections |
Other topics covered will include
opening/importing images, inserting
and manipulating text, and working
with layers, resolution and sizing,
filters, and special effects.
