Are you looking for new ways to
enhance student learning in your
PK-3 mathematics classroom? Do
you need engaging, hands-on
activities that are aligned with
state standards? If so, then
this workshop is for you! Come
explore the big ideas in mathematics
by engaging in a series of fun
activities guaranteed to stimulate
and motivate your students.
Topics will include making sense of
numbers and data, a chance encounter
with geometry, and connecting
literature and problem solving.
Regardless of the textbook you use,
you will gain a vast collection of
mathematical activities and a
manipulative toolbox to immediately
use in the fall. In addition,
you will learn a variety of
pedagogical strategies to help meet
the needs of all your students.
