SCIENCE ON THE PRAIRIE
INSTRUCTOR(S):

GRADE LEVEL: K-12
Spend a week developing skills to
assess your school yard site with
numerous science activities to
enhance your classroom learning
experience. Topics will
include developing an outdoor
classroom, identifying your science
resources in you school and
community, developing ecological
literacy and inquiry-based learning.
Participants will be expected to
develop and deliver
grade-appropriate research
experience curriculum for their
classroom.
Session Prerequisite:
Participants should be interested in
learning about prairies and
practicing discovery science with
students.
