RESTORATIVE JUSTICE IN SCHOOL
SETTINGS
INSTRUCTOR(S): Kris Miner, St. Croix
County Restorative Justice
GRADE LEVEL(S): K-12
Restorative Justice is a process
that involves accountability and
healing for individuals involved in
crime or conflict. This practice has
moved into the school setting.
Teachers, students and staff are
experiencing more learning, fewer
distractions as classroom management
improves. Participants will learn
about the Restorative Justice
framework, tools and techniques to
implement or improve existing
programs. Conferencing and circles,
Restorative Justice Practitioner
skill applications for classroom and
school settings will be taught.
Opportunities to dialogue,
experience and engage in Restorative
Justice will be part of this
inspirational and interactive
session.
