CAREER CLUSTERS: DEVELOPING PROGRAMS OF STUDY

INSTRUCTOR(S): Nancy Graese, CESA #11
GRADE LEVEL:
7-12 Vocational Education Teachers

Work with Nancy Graese, CESA #11, in this session all about Career Clusters.  The focus of Career Clusters is to help students investigate more about potential careers and related post secondary schools.  Career and Technical Education teachers, high school counselors and principals are all working toward better understanding the process of developing Programs of Study for students based on the Career Cluster initiative.  Participants choosing the course with STAR Academy will learn about career clusters, career pathways and develop a complete Program of Study.  The work will link the flow of the career cluster movement from theK-12 systems, through the Wisconsin Technical Colleges and the Wisconsin University System.  Models will be used that have been developed by Wisconsin Technical College System and the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction.  Join us and develop Programs of Study to use with middle school and high school students in the fall.
