2nd ANNUAL SMARTBOARD™ BOOT CAMP

INSTRUCTOR(S): Mark Smith, River Falls School District
GRADE LEVEL(S): K-12

In response to the growing demand in our school districts for SMART Board™ training, STAR Academy proudly announces its 2nd Annual SMART Board™ Boot Camp.

The purpose of this session is to assist teachers as they work to add inter-activity into their classrooms and facilitate individual learning through the development of lessons and activities that engage students.

This session is designed to support teachers who already have access to interactive whiteboards and desire the time to work with experienced educators for purposes of gaining a greater understanding of the resources and opportunities that exist through the use of the SMART™ education solutions web site and software.

Each participant is asked to bring curriculum materials and lessons they wish to transform into dynamic learning opportunities using interactive whiteboard technologies.

Quote from 2008 SMART Board Boot Camp participant:

“Excellent workshop! Honestly, best technology workshop I’ve been to--I’ve learned so much and have so many ideas for my classroom and I’m actually learning with things I’ve created and from the valuable handouts. Thank you for the flash drive.”
