INSTRUCTOR(S):
Robert Wagner,
Marian College
Kristi Shaw, All
Saints
Catholic School
GRADE LEVEL: K-12
CREDIT: 2
Educational Robotics is for teachers
who want an expanded awareness for
the application of educational
robotics, computer structures,
curriculum development, and hardware
applications. Teachers will
participate in activities that can
be used in the classroom for any
curricular area. Participants
will also build, design, and program
simple robots, using Lego
Contraptions, Lego Mind-storm kits,
and analyze the educational
framework that guides the use of
this exciting technology.
Robotics is an excellent exposure to
the new technologies of the future
and curriculum development for
educational objectives that prepares
students for the 21st
Century.
