ACCELERATED MASTER'S PROGRAM
BRAIN AND COGNITIVE RESEARCH APPLIED
TO LEARNING

The intent of this course is to
develop a basic knowledge base of
brain anatomy and development, to
explore cognitive research and to
apply grain and cognitive research
to the learning process. In
achieving these intentions, students
will investigate critical periods
for learning, memory function,
theories of intelligence, the role
of emotion and sleep in learning,
the teenage brain and gender
differences in learning.
Classroom application will be
discussed throughout each topic with
individual application through
course assignments. (You do not
have to be enrolled in the
Accelerated Master's Program to
register for this workshop).
