PROFESSIONAL LEARNING COMMUNITIES

Learning with your colleagues is enriching, purposeful, and focused as you face the challenges of education in classrooms, buildings and districts.  This session will provide participants with the opportunity to be part of a Professional Learning Community (PLC) and learn how to develop PLC's in your building or district.

Participants will choose between three current educational topics for their "In Course" PLC.  Topics will include Universally Designed Classrooms.  Crucial Conversations, or Tools for Continuous Improvement Baldrige Style.  Groups of three or more may bring a book of their own to use during this class.  A follow-up session will be required after the implementation of learning is completed in the fall.
