DESIGNING THE CLASSROOM FOR WRITER'S
WORKSHOP

This course is designed to refine
teaching knowledge of the components
of a writer's workshop while
incorporating the Six Traits into
the classroom. It will utilize
Six-Trait training and focus on how
to organize a writing program using
the writing workshop model.
Participants will gain a deeper
understanding and create a plan for
using the aspects of the workshops
model including the use of
mini-lessons, conferencing, sharing,
and classroom management.
