BEYOND SIX TRAITS: The Writing
Process

Now that you've had the Six-Traits
training, how in the world will you
use all of that information?
This course will focus on the
writing process and how to organize
writing programs within a Language
Arts/English classroom. You
will gain a deeper understanding of
the writing process by practicing
each of the steps during the
five-day course. This course
will focus on the process of
revision using Six-Trait assessment,
the use of graphic organizers to
develop various genres of writing,
effective teacher "modeling"
techniques, and the presentation of
final writing products.
