TEACHING AND LEARNING ONLINE

In this course, participants will
gain first-hand experience as online
learners and begin to:

Explore several online
learning tools; |

Learn and apply concepts and
techniques that make us
effective online
facilitators and learners; |

Develop strategies for
incorporating online
components within student
learning and staff
development; |
 |
Develop and demonstrate a
clear understanding of the
benefits of online learning. |
Participants will use the Blackboard
Learning System to develop an online
component for their classroom.
Although there is no prerequisite
for this class, it is expected that
class members are experienced
Internet users who have a background
on principles of instructional
design. A knowledge of basic
HTML is helpful but not required.
