BRAIN & COGNITIVE RESEARCH APPLIED
TO LEARNING

The intent of this course is
threefold: 1) to develop a basic
knowledge base of brain anatomy,
function, and development, 2) to
explore cognitive research, and 3)
to apply brain and cognitive
research to the learning process.
In achieving these intentions,
participants will investigate
critical periods for learning,
various learning theories, memory
function, theories of intelligence
and the role of emotion and sleep in
learning.
