GRAPHING CALCULATORS IN THE
MATHEMATICS CLASSROOM

GRADE LEVEL: 6-12
CREDIT: 1, 2 or 3
This course will focus on learning
how to use the Ti-84 SE+ graphing
calculators in the mathematics
classroom. Participants will
experience a thorough introduction
to the functionality of the
calculator, how to utilize the APPS,
how to work with motion detectors
and temperature probes, and how
these aspects are integrated within
the classroom to promote student
learning. Emphasis will be
placed on participants developing
curricular materials and lessons
utilizing TI-84 SE+ graphing
calculator that coincide with their
curriculum.
