This course examines systematic,
standards-based learning that
focuses on important concepts, not
on isolated facts. Educators
explore the meaning of student
understanding, learn how to develop
essential questions and enduring
understandings, how to authentically
assess student learning, and how to
construct instructional activities
that guide students toward these
instructional goals.
