INTEGRATING TECHNOLOGY INTO YOUR CLASSROOM
INSTRUCTOR(S): Bruce Nelson, Oregon
School District
GRADE LEVEL: K-12
Take your multimedia
presentations to the next level! Answer the question "How
did they do that!" See how to effectively implement
instructional technology in your classroom. Use scanners,
digital cameras, projectors, CD/DVD drives, and computers.
Learn how to integrate resources to create web pages and
multimedia presentations. Take advantage of new techniques
to actively engage your students. Use multimedia and the
web to spice up your most routine activities. Create
projects that you will use in class next year. Each topic
will be covered at beginning and advanced levels. All
participants will need to bring materials form a curricular area
of their choice to work on during the week.
Participants will understand how to
use technology to excite
students and prepare them for the
future, experience a variety of
technological tools to integrate
into the curriculum, understand the
importance of using technology as a
presentation tool, learn to use
innovative thinking and create a new
approach to education.
