COMPREHENSIVE SCHOOL COUNSELING

GRADE LEVEL:  PK-Post Secondary

Level I:  Build the Foundation for transitioning to a comprehensive school counseling program.  Develop an understanding of the components of and delivery system for the comprehensive school counseling program per ASCA and Wisconsin Models.  Develop application materials for the local program including a district program manual, district and building brochures, PowerPoints, website materials and a manual for student/parent conferences.

Level II:  Integrates the current program activities into the comprehensive program formulated during Level I training.  Develop a comprehensive program formulated during Level I training.  Develop a comprehensive curricular action plan including a crosswalk of student content standards, scope and sequence, curriculum maps, and unit lesson guides.  Prepare a handbook for the program advisory committee.  This workshop is open only to individuals who have completed Level I training.

NOTE: These are two separate workshops.  When registering please indicate Level I or Level II.
