Join other K-6 teachers as we combine
quality children's literature with students'
natural love of science for a week of
non-stop fun and excitement. Utilizing
picture books and chapter book, fiction and
non-fiction, Caldecott Winners and Newbery
Awardees, we'll explore science concepts and
skills, as well as develop a thorough
understanding of the science content
involved when using each book. You'll leave
the workshop with a complete bibliography of
the various books and numerous science
activities, experiments, and lab
experiences. All these components will have
you ready for your students in the fall. |
