In this training
participants will learn how to apply
verbal de-escalation strategies at
an advanced level.
Workshop
participants will learn how to:

Develop
strategies to prevent a conflict
from escalating into a more volatile
incident or crisis.

Learn
several different types of
debriefing and reclaiming
interventions, as well as how to use
them effectively.
·
Explore
the dynamics that lead to conflict
between staff and those in your
care.
·
Learn how
to respond to the well-meaning staff
member who fuels a conflict.
·
Gain new
insights about how to use crisis
situations as learning
opportunities.
