Join other K-6 teachers as we
combine quality children's
literature with students' natural
love of science for a week of
non-stop fun and excitement.
Utilizing picture books and chapter
books, fiction and non-fiction,
Caldecott Winners and Newbery
Awardees, we'll explore science
concepts and skills, as well as
develop a thorough understanding of
the science content involved when
using each book. You'll leave
the workshop with a complete
bibliography of the various books,
and numerous science activities,
experiments, and lab experiences
ready to use with your class this
fall.
